Towne Street Theatre – now in its 30th year of producing theatre in Los Angeles – is offering Internships in the following areas, in exchange for Class Credit and/or Service Hours. Internships will be both in person and virtual.

 

Administrative & Managerial

Grant Research & Writing • Public Relations

Audience Development • Social Networking

 

Production & Performance

Stage Management • Directing • Producing  • Acting • Writing • Casting  

 

Technical & Design

Set Design & Construction • Video Projection Design

Lighting Design & Operation • Photography • Graphic Design

Duties will be tailored to individual experience and interests and in some cases, the areas will be cross trained. Our Interns receive individual mentorship by working professionals, the opportunity to be creatively involved in the process and to grow with the company as we seek to build on our foundation of excellence and service to the community.

Qualifications include commitment to Towne Street Theatre's mission of affecting positive social change through our artistic endeavors, planning and organizational skills, an ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ability to manage time efficiently, strong interpersonal skills, and flexible working time.
