Towne Street Theatre is looking for plays for our June 2026 Reading Series. Being that it is Pride, and also the celebration of Juneteenth, we are looking for work that reflects the intersectionality of liberation for both. As our society moves forward in the 21st century, it's important to TST that the work we produce, in whatever form, shines a light on the stories of our shared history. We had a terrific inaugural reading event in June 2024 and we are looking to keep this new series going! Nancy knew there were important stories to be told and she was excited to start this special reading event.

 

Requirements:

• 30 minutes or less

• Examines the reflection of the African-American and LGBTQ+ experience
