Melissa Kay Anderson

Melissa Kay Anderson grew up about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, CA in a big Jamaican family where getting an education and having quick wit were equally valued. Performing from a young age, it was inevitable that she studied English and Theatre despite pressure to go into law or medicine. Since graduating from USC, she has studied with the Theatre Group Studio, Richard Lawson Studios, and the Eric Morris Acting Studio. Melissa has performed with the Promenade Playhouse, the Culver City Public Theater and now, after almost 10 years of working in commercials (The General, BMW), films (Son Shine, Jinn) and television (How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life), she's returning to the stage with the Towne Street Theatre.
