SHADES OF WAR

The remarkable true story of a Haitian immigrant, Samuel Fraunces, and his daughter, Phoebe Fraunces. Together, they foiled an assassination plot against George Washington in 1776. The play explores slavery, race, sexism, and colorism with lessons that are still relevant today.
